It is wise for car owners to fully service their car annually, or for every 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. This will make sure that your car is well-maintained and reduce the chances of your vehicle breaking down in the middle of your ride. Constant maintenance will also help your car’s value from plummeting.
WBS Motors provide several check-ups included in the majority of the manufacturers’ service schedules. Our mechanics are trained and qualified for the latest equipment, manual or electronic.
Full Service versus Interim Service
Full Service is ideal for an annual maintenance of your vehicle. This is recommended every 12 months, or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Other manufacturers recommend frequent checks, for either time frame or mileage.
Interim Service is for vehicles that usually used for short, specific journeys like urban travelling. This is also ideal for those who are wishing to service vehicles having high mileage. One can ask for service every 6,000 miles or 6 months.
In case of parts being replaced, we ensure you that we will match the quality of the original equipment. There is also a varied selection of engine oils that you can choose.
Oil service is not just limited to changing engine oil and filter. This also includes check-ups on essential parts such as tires, battery, wipers, and lights. Aside from the oil, other essential fluids are also serviced such as topping up brake fluids, windscreen washers, and power steering fluids if necessary. Oil service is not a substitute for full service and therefore does not provide service history stamp.
Engines from different manufacturers have different characteristics. Therefore, most of these engines require manufacturer approved “specialist oil” that should optimize the performance. WBS Motors always recommend an oil equivalent to the specified by the manufacturer. In some cases, we may choose to upgrade your oil from semi-synthetic to “specialist”. Just contact the branch near you to confirm for the right oil of your car.
